The 10th International Abalone Symposium, held at Xiamen, China, on May 8-12, 2018, was as great as it could be. We are very grateful to the Local Organizing Committee, led by Prof. Caihuan Ke. Every single detail of the organization was perfect. Special thanks to Dr. Weiwei (Chris) You, who was in charge of most of the operation and coordination of the meeting and to his enthusiastic students who were always there for us. The Xiamen International Conference Center Hotel was the perfect venue.
