Abtas Abalone Farm in Tasmania, Australia is currently seeking an Abalone Farm Manager and a Hatchery Manager to join their team. As the Abalone Farm Manager, you will be responsible for driving a small team of staff to work productively and effectively, maximizing abalone production and output for the facilities infrastructure, and planning and executing stock movement, grading, and harvesting. You will also be responsible for training employees in processes and procedures to maximize farm performance and improving key performance indicators. The position is hands-on with some office work involved. As the Hatchery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the hatchery operations, including broodstock management, hatchery production, and larval rearing. You will be responsible for ensuring the production of high-quality seed, and providing technical support to farm staff. The position is based in our brand new state-of-the-art hatchery facility.
